  9. This year has been quite successful reading-wise. I will just name a recent favorite: Optimists Die First by Susin Nielsen. It was so smart, funny, heartbreaking. I just loved it

  14. I just finished Under Rose-Tainted Skies by Louisse Gornall yesterday, and it absolutely blew me away. It brought out every emotion. It was perfect!

  24. My favorite book at the moment is The Dragon Dreamer by J.S. Burke, a fantasy story about a dragon & his family, octopi, and the dangers they face from various catastophes. Lots of scientific facts relating to ocean life. Enjoyable for ages 9 to 99.
