Hmm. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm a huge fan of brainstorming-- and I tend to type quickly + leave overly-long comments. So, I'll just rattle off a few ideas WITHOUT writing something akin to a blog post. :p
(Each item could be wrapped in colorful tissue paper, and tied/decorated with curling ribbon. I like to get fancy.)
Votive candle(s). Pack of stickers ($1-3 ea.). Gift card(s) for places like Starbucks or Subway (? no idea here), in $5-ish dollar amounts. Chapsticks. (Sorry, "lip balms." :) ) Roll of glittery washi tape (craft stores have cheap stuff; use a coupon, too). Go to Target's Dollar Spot, and go nuts. "Re-gift" something of your own, that you've just never used (e.g., small picture frame). Bake something. Visit Pinterest-- careful; you might find yourself in a vortex of infinite scrolling and clicking, and accidentally miss Christmas altogether.
Good luck! ...You'll be totally fine. YOU'VE GOT THIS! :)
--Ann
Oh my god; duh. A used book! :)
Delete--Ann
hehe! Thanks for the thought into that! You gave me lots of ideas. I love the washi tape!!
DeleteLOL, I put that in my girls stocking yearly too. I am going to put in books this year since they are reading a lot and things like socks, bras, etc.

DeleteI was going to suggest a beautiful journal book. Encourage her to write in it at least 5 minutes before bed.She will enjoy it years down the road. You could even do it together and discuss her day with her. I raised 3 girls, and they still journal. They have them on their book shelves in order by years.
