Hmm. Hmmm...Well, I'm a huge fan of brainstorming-- and I tend to type quickly + leave overly-long comments. So, I'll just rattle off a few ideas WITHOUT writing something akin to a blog post. :p(Each item could be wrapped in colorful tissue paper, and tied/decorated with curling ribbon. I like to get fancy.)Votive candle(s). Pack of stickers ($1-3 ea.). Gift card(s) for places like Starbucks or Subway (? no idea here), in $5-ish dollar amounts. Chapsticks. (Sorry, "lip balms." :) ) Roll of glittery washi tape (craft stores have cheap stuff; use a coupon, too). Go to Target's Dollar Spot, and go nuts. "Re-gift" something of your own, that you've just never used (e.g., small picture frame). Bake something. Visit Pinterest-- careful; you might find yourself in a vortex of infinite scrolling and clicking, and accidentally miss Christmas altogether.Good luck! ...You'll be totally fine. YOU'VE GOT THIS! :)--Ann
Oh my god; duh. A used book! :)--Ann
hehe! Thanks for the thought into that! You gave me lots of ideas. I love the washi tape!!
LOL, I put that in my girls stocking yearly too. I am going to put in books this year since they are reading a lot and things like socks, bras, etc.
Books are always good. Bras are a great idea. Mine will wear hers over and over and over and over without changing them out.
Books!! :) When I was teenager I used (and still do) to love getting stationery supplies. Maybe she loves drawing so get her a coloring book with color pencils.
OOOHHH! Another good idea. She loves to doodle! THanks
I was going to suggest a beautiful journal book. Encourage her to write in it at least 5 minutes before bed.She will enjoy it years down the road. You could even do it together and discuss her day with her. I raised 3 girls, and they still journal. They have them on their book shelves in order by years.
That is an amazing idea. Never would have thought to do it together!!
You can't ever go wrong with gift cards or DVDs!
I know right!?!
Depending on her phone new phone covers and flat irons and hairs clips!
Hair clips! Yes!!!
Fake henna tattoos :) pens, notebooks
Haha! My daughter's job is a henna tattoo artist! She would love more of the stuff. I never even thought of that!
I went through Barnes and Noble's gift section under $10. The Time turner and Slytherin's horcrux necklace are what I got my daughter. They have a lot of verity and fun gift ideas.
THat is a lot of fun!! Great idea thanks!!! You can never go wrong with Harry Potter and thanks for the gift section idea!
Colorful headphones, pens and pencils for school and of course Christmas candy.

Ulta is a place I could go broke in!! Thanks, I don't think I would have thought about that!
I am getting my teenage niece a color changing (battery operated) candle. Maybe that could work?
THat is a great idea. THen she couldn't burn down the house with a real one ! LOL
My daughter is 21 (almost 22), but she always loved little dolls. I got her some of those Disney Tsum Tsums. They are pretty cute

Solar Charger is another unique idea!! Thanks!!
Maybe one of those candles that has jewellery hidden it it.jen dot barnard at btinternet dot com
I haven't seen that! I'm gonna google it!
I like to find unusual items. Tide pens, unique flash drives, gc to Subway, those face masks that come in individual packs, etc. Can you tell I have a college girl? One year was a chopstick set for my oldest.

I want bluetooth speakers! Forget the teenager
How about books, a new change purse (with money inside), or a mother/daughter birthstone necklace.
Awe, that is a sweet idea!
BOOKS! Everyone needs to read more and more.
I would buy the micro SD cards for my daughter's phone and fill it with music for her. I would put some of her favorites and some new stuff for her to try. And audiobooks are always a hit with my daughter. Otherwise, books, gift cards to her favorite stores at the mall, or to Starbucks or food court vendors at the mall.

When I was a teen, my mom bought me a gift card to a local spa...I loved that gift so much, it was cool to go to a spa for the first time.
