The Panther Moon (The Secret Warrior #3) by Beth Trissel.
Audience/Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal.
Publication: September 30th 2016 by The Wild Rose Press, Inc.
Being the seventh Morcant has its perks: Morgan is learning to fly and wield magical blue fire.

But the coyote shifters are growing bolder. Mateo and his panthers seem impossible to defeat. And vampires aren't real – are they?

When the elusive and enigmatic Chief Okema disappears and the wards protecting the Wapicoli territory falter, Morgan and Jackson are forced into the role of leaders. Badly outnumbered and outgunned, do they have time to search for the secret of the Divining Tree, and will it help them in the final battle?

There is more action, more characters, a new threat, and a fatality in this edition of the series. You will have to read it to find out if the fatality is a foe or friend!

Morgan is growing in her powers. Jackson is still reluctant to be the new Chief one day. The humor is plentiful with Jimmy and Hawthorne. There is a new creature too. I can’t wait to see what happens with it!!

The romance takes a back seat in this edition with all the fighting and plotting. I kind of missed it though!

Married to my high school sweetheart, I live on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia surrounded by my children, grandbabies, and assorted animals. An avid gardener, my love of herbs and heirloom plants figures into my work. The rich history of Virginia, the Native Americans and the people who journeyed here from far beyond her borders are at the heart of my inspiration. In addition to American settings, I also write historical and time travel romances set in the British Isles, and nonfiction about gardening, herbal lore, and country life.
