I am always on the lookout for a cookbook to make my life simpler and find some new recipe to try. My family is picky. If it looks really healthy, forget it! Me, I'm up for anything. I liked that the recipes were alot of things I could do ahead of time, so I wasn't rushed and found things that looked really yummy. The photographer had me drooling at most of the foods. Unfortunately, I had my physical yesterday so I was holding off on sweets until after my labs were done. So, now I am going to try making the Almond poppyseed icecream!

I have been searching for a beef stroganoff recipe for years and I have to say I loved the one in this book! My family ate it up!

I need to figure out how to get my family to try the pineapple coconut chicken curry! One look at the pinapple and I will be the only one eating it! Oh but I love pineapple and coconut!

Another thing I liked was that she had a recipe for chicken pot pie. I just don't do well with crusts. But she told us where she gets her recipe for the crust but said to use premade ones if you wanted. I like that she made me feel ok if I didn't make it from scratch.

Did you know you needed to "fluff" your flour if you don't go through it quickly? I never knew that! She explains that in the beginning of the book.

I still have a few recipes I really want to make, like the easy lemony slow cooker chicken noodle soup. That sounds so good! But it will have to wait till fall. The coconut brown sugar cinnamon rolls are on my list for tomorrow!!!!

This is definitely a good addition to my cookbook collection!

Just a note: the Coconut Zucchini Bread recipe is missing a VITAL first step. Preheat the oven to 350ยบ and use two 9" loaf pans!
