Heart-Shaped Hack
by Tracey Garvis-Graves.
Audience/Genre: Contemporary Romance.
Publication: August 25th 2015.
When Kate Watts abandoned her law career to open a food pantry in Northeast Minneapolis, she never dreamed it would be this difficult. Facing the heartbreaking prospect of turning hungry people away, she is grateful for the anonymous donations that begin appearing at the end of each month. Determined to identify and thank her secret benefactor, she launches a plan and catches Ian—a charismatic hacker with a Robin Hood complex—in the act.

Ian intrigues Kate in a way no man ever has. But after learning he’s snooped around on her personal computer, she demands retribution. Impressed with her tolerance and captivated by her spirit, he complies and begins to slowly charm his way past her defenses. Time spent with Ian is never boring, and Kate soon finds herself falling for the mysterious hacker.

But Ian has enemies, and they’re growing restless. In the hacking world, exploiting a target’s weakness is paramount, and no price is too high to stop an attack. And when Kate learns exactly how much Ian has paid, she’ll discover just how strong her love is for the man who has hacked his way into her heart.

This book was so much fun! I loved the witty banter between Ian and Kate. Those two are perfect for each other. I could listen to them talk all day!

Ian is not one to have drama. He just speaks his mind but like in a monotone, sarcastic, sexual innuendos, dry humor kind of way. If that makes sense! He observes every detail. He is rich and cute. I have so many quotes from this book that I think half the book is highlighted!

Kate was a lawyer and gave it up to work at a pantry for those families who need food and things. She is caring and sweet. She had a boyfriend for years and when he proposed to her she realized she didn’t love him enough, there was no spark there. It was a safe kind of love. So, now Kate isn’t looking for someone but Ian was intrigued with her since he saw her plea on TV for donations for the Pantry she works at.

Ian and Kate eat out a lot. Talk a lot. Have sex a lot! (I could have done without a lot of that) Do fun things together a lot. They kiss a lot. (They even have numbers for the type of kisses that are given) They are really falling for each other a lot!

I don’t want to tell you anymore. It is just a great story with some sadness, joy, and finding love and lots of humor. I will leave you with some quotes…

“You will never get me out of your system, you know” “I do believe that’s true, Katie Long Legs. Because now I only want you more.”

“Always choose love. Always choose the adventure. You’ll never regret it.”

"What are you saying? That you're a thief who steals from other thieves?" He wrinkled his nose, and, it was adorable. Stop! Thief! "It sounds so distasteful when you say it like that. I prefer master appropriator of ill-gotten funds. You can call me Master for short." "I have lots of things I'd like to call you. Master is not one of them." "That's okay, Katie Brown Eyes, as long as the other names are favorable."

These are the teasers from the Release Day Launch & I love them:
