I'd recommend anything by Elin Hilderbrand. I think of her as the queen of the beach read. For someone who has never read her books, I'd probalby recommend The Blue Bistro first.
I read all genres, but the last two books I really enjoyed was Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi and A Court of Roses and Thorns by Sarah J. Maas. They were both really good.
The Shades of London series by Maureen Johnson because it's set in England and it's cold and dark, grey, and raining throughout all three books...a perfect contrast for hot summer days! lol
I would recommend To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han for a light read, or The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh for a heavier read. I've heard that Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian is good, too! :)
