30 Days Of Hunger Games!

Attention All Hunger Games Fans!

Ellen from A World of Words is hosting an event known as 30 Days Of Hunger Games. A couple of blogs have gotten together and we're participating in Ellen's event. There's a LOT of exciting prizes to be won (mentioned below!) and believe me, this is going to be exciting. All the instructions are given here so read on and enter. P.S. I know it may seem like there's a lot to read but the instructions aren't all that time consuming..and the prizes are worth it :) Make sure you read the stuff in bold and colored properly!

Hey everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of the 30 Days of Hunger Games! Some of the blogs may choose to post one or all of the 30 Days, so if you follow them more then you follow Ellen's blog, you can check their blog to see if they post it up or not! I will require them to post at least one of the posts in order to be apart of this event!

So, for Day 2, we will be doing our own Hunger Games, except without the killing and the cruelty of it all (: This might get a little complicated, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask! So basically, if you choose to enter, you must have a capitol identification card, if you don't have one, go to this site to make one: http://thecapitol.pn/
It basically assigns you to a district, so it's like you're living in Panem as well. If you already have one, be sure to find it because you're going to need it (: Ok, so to say this in simpler way, I will list these easy steps:

1. To enter, you must have a capitol ID card, go to this site if you do not have one: http://thecapitol.pn/
If you do have one, awesome! :) Here's what mine looks like : (it's a bad pic, I know)

2. Go to Ellen's facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/A-World-of-Words/282984165061708
(Please like Ellen's page first!) Post your capitol ID on the wall of the page and at the end she will save all of them and put them in one album! Please comment below the picture stating your name and what your district is.

3. Reaping Day: March 1! Ellen will be using random.org to pick one boy and one girl tribute from each district. Now it all depends on how many people decide to enter from each district. After reaping day, she will give you more information on how the people will be eliminated.

Sound simple enough? All you need to do for now is get a capitol ID and post it on Ellen's facebook page's wall :)


Oh! and one more thing..remember during reaping day how the tributes get their name put in the reaping ball multiple times to feed their families? Well in this HG, you'd actually WANT to get your name in the ball multiple times. How, you ask?

Well all you have to do is visit each blog and leave a comment on their Hunger Games post! You may only do this ONCE, so if a blog posted more then one HG post, you can comment as many as you want AS LONG AS IT'S APART OF THE 30 DAYS OF HG EVENT! So basically, one comment per post! On your comment, please leave your name (the one on your capital id) and what district you're from. And yes you may comment on this post for an extra entry as well (: You may comment on Day 1 and Day 2 and anything after that, but any comments after February 29 will not count for the reaping, since the reaping is on March 1. This goes for the other blogs as well.

Lastly, this is the only prize that will differ, depending on whether you're U.S. or International.


For U.S.:
Well, for whoever has an AMC Theatre near them, or if you don't then we'll figure something out :) You will get ONE FREE TICKET to go see the Hunger Games! Yes, you heard me! Ellen's got free tickets for AMC Theatres as a gift, and she still has them and has decided to give one of them away, now it's ONLY if you have an AMC near you!

For International:
Since Ellen can't give you a free movie ticket to see The Hunger Games, after trying to decide on what to give you to represent the movie, she has decided to give you guys a mockingjay pin!
